The Duchers above were planted in November 2009. These pics are in March 2011. They never went totally dormant even through our two very cold back-to-back winters. No where near as full as they normally are though. The pic below is of a Ducher from a previous garden, about the same age as the above, but after going through a couple of mild winters. See the difference in the fullness of the foliage?
